About Martin & Rose Music
Martin and Rose Music is a fun interactive learning channel for kids in Preschool - 3rd Grade. They are dedicated to creating high-quality safe and fun kids' music and mini-lessons. Martin & Rose Music's channel has over 35K subscribers.
The Museum
Our first stop was at a local museum that allowed us to capture some of the memorabilia and items they have for exhibition for kids of all ages.

The Studio
Our second stop was at the studio where I captured the artists in different outfits. The white backdrop allowed me to separate the artists from the background and also helped me have more control over the lighting. The artists were asked to pose as if they were interacting with objects from the museum so it would make sense in the composition process.

Photo Merging and Composition
In this final step, I started by cutting all the objects from the museum and the artists from the white backdrop in Photoshop. Then, I designed the room giving it space and proportion. Having all the elements prepared such as the artists, the objects, and the room, I began assigning every object to a place in the room. Once I had everything placed, the next step was to add shadows and highlights effects to create a "dreamy" environment, the idea was to make some of the objects look like they were taking life. The last step was to add the font title and include the light effects. I used special effect brushes, layer blending effects, and color balance to create light effects. The final .psd document has over 70 composition layers.
